BJP to hold 'Modi Fest' on NDA govt 3rd anniversary

After conquering the recent elections, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is planning for "Modi Fest" during the fortnight-long celebration programme in various parts of the country for the 3rd anniversary of NDA government. Though there are many speculative media reports have emerged since last one week, but the sources confirmed that the celebration will be based on mass connection programme which will be the main agenda of "Modi Fest".

The party top brass has asked the respective party wings to arrange convenient places to organise exhibitions and special programmes for the beneficiaries of different schemes by the government.

There will be many public meetings and other activities by different ministries of the Indian government to make people aware of these schemes.

Starting from May 26, all party MPs, Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states and other ministers of state cabinets will be travelling to various corners of India. However, BJP is yet to finalise schedules of both the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national President Amit Shah.

While speaking to media on Friday at the party headquarters Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad rubbished all the speculative media reports over their (Modi and Shah) programme schedule saying that "Nothing has been finalised yet."

Meanwhile, party sources confirmed that during the celebration, the party brass will also focus on strengthening the organisation base, especially in the states which are still unconquered by the saffron party. Aiming this, senior leaders will also be holding meetings with party workers there.
