New Palam Vihar residents without power for four hrs

The 35 percent of power line losses is the reason behind four hour long power cuts in the New Palam Vihar area, the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) stated while responding to the complaints by the residents.

"The residents must ensure that if they want 24 hours power supply, they should stop the high number of power thefts occurring in the area.

The officials are regularly monitoring the feeders and if they find any improvement, the officials will comply in providing more power supply," said a senior DHBVN official.

The officials stated that areas with 40-50 percent of line losses

will suffer six hours of power cuts, while areas with above 50 percent will face 8 hours.

The DHBVN also stated that the power feeders in the Millennium City will have to face power cuts between 7 am to 8 am

and then 12 pm to 1 pm.
