Suresh Prabhu inaugurates global tech conference
Minister for Railways Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu inaugurated the two-day Global Technology Conference at Manekshaw Centre, Parade Road, Delhi Cantonment, on Wednesday. The Research and Development Standards Organization (RDSO) of the Indian Railways is holding a two-day Global Technology Conference.
He also released a Book of Abstracts of the Presentations by the global participants of this Conference. A K Mital, Chairman, Railway Board, Members, Railway Board, R K Kulshrestha, Director General, RDSO and General Manager, Northern Railway and Senior Railway Officers were also present on the occasion.
A Technological Exhibition with table-top exhibits from several rail-based industries was also held.
Around 60 speakers are presenting their papers in 12 Technical Sessions spread over these two days. In all, 500 delegates are participating in the event.
The Technical Engineering Institutes of the Indian Railways viz. Institute of Rolling Stock Engineers (IRSE) and the Institution of Signal and Telecommunications Engineers (IRSTE) are the nodal bodies liaising and organizing this Conference.
