IRCTC launches Saloon Charter

New Delhi: IRCTC have the immense pleasure to announcing its first departure of Saloon Charter tours. The travel in majestic saloon of Indian Railways is a life time experience difficult to resist. The Saloon provides the comforts of a home with a spacious living room, two bedrooms with attached bath, exclusive dining area and also a well equipped kitchenette. This journey experience is an ideal choice for those seeking privacy and exclusivity with their family and loved ones. Saloons are also an ideal choice for hosting meetings (MICE), while on the move.
Two air conditioned bedroom, one twin bedroom and another one as in AC Ist Coupe provides all comforts like in a hotel. Both the bed rooms are with attached bathroom.
IRCTC may also provides cook for delicacies and raw material, full housekeeping and valet services for the guests travelling in Saloon at additional cost in future.
The first Charter Service of Saloon has been hired by M/s Royal India Train Journeys for their 6 VIP Customers. This will be an all inclusive tour where the guests will be offered all the comfort of a hotel. Exclusive staff will be available for services on board. Railway also provides one AC attendant and one Saloon attendant for ensuring hassle-free travel. The 4 day tour will start from 30th March evening and will be back to Delhi on 2nd April, Monday morning.
