Four arrested for IPL match betting

NEW DELHI: Delhi Police arrested four gamblers betting on IPL match played between Hyderabad and Kolkata on April 21 from Dwarka. A total sum of Rs 1.52 lakh cash, five mobile phones and three notebooks have been recovered from the accused persons. The police found the accused during routine checking of parks in Dwarka sector 23 in DDA park.
The accused have been identified as Deepak, Amar, Ankit and Vikash Dubey all residents of Delhi.
Earlier Delhi Police has arrested four men from Hazrat Nizamuddin area for betting on IPL matches when on April 9, the police team raided room number 307 of the hotel where the men present were watching between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders on TV.
