CRPF constable dies, family points to robbery angle

Ghaziabad: A 35-year-old constable of Central Reserved Police Force (CRPF) was found unconscious in a jungle in Surajpur area of Greater Noida on Wednesday afternoon and died while being taken to the hospital, said police.
According to police, the deceased constable has been identified as Anil Yadav who was a native of Bulandshahar district. He was posted with CRPF battalion at the camp situated in Surajpur area of Greater Noida.
"As the information was conveyed a police team reached the spot and the victim was taken to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. The body has been sent for the post mortem and investigations are underway" said Akhilesh Pradhan, station house officer, surajpur police station.
Meanwhile deceased's family has alleged that Yadav has been poisoned and robbed off Rs 50, 000 which he took along with him to deposit in the post office. However police ruled out any such possibility and took it as a case of suicide. "Prime facie investigations showed that the man has committed suicide. No suicide note has been recovered from the spot." added Pradhan.
