Coal India director R Mohan Das' services terminated

State-owned Coal India on Friday announced the termination of the services of one of its directors R Mohan Das with effect from March 30. As a director (Personnel and Industrial Relations) with Coal India (CIL), Das was responsible for the formulation and implementation of personnel policies of our company, the PSU said in a filing to BSE. His services were terminated as per the directions received by the PSU from the Coal Ministry, it said. Das's "services is terminated w.e.f March 30, 2017 as per the directions received from the Ministry of Coal...and hence he ceased to be the director of the company," Coal India informed. However, the company did not specify the reasons for his termination.
