Clarification

In the news story published in Millennium Post on 17th April 2018 with the heading 'Top education institutions to take in foreign students', it had been stated in the report that IITs will admit students without appearing in JEE examination and IIM will admit students without appearing in CAT examination.

The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India clarifies that this is patently wrong and no such concession has ever been considered either by the IITs or by the IIMs. So to be eligible to get admission into these prestigious institutions aspirants will need clear JEE and CAT exams respectively.
