70% voters are happy with TDP govt: Chandrababu

Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Party supremo and Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Monday claimed that around 70 per cent voters are happy in the state with the ruling Telugu Desam government, particularly welfare schemes.

With only two days left for campaigning for the Lok Sabha and assembly elections in the state, Chandrababu Naidu addressed party leaders on Monday morning through teleconference and said that all the surveys are in favour of Telugu Desam Party.

He asked the party leaders and cadre to work hard for the success of party in the elections. The TDP chief underlined the need to bring awareness on EVMs among the voters.

Later in the day, former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda joined the election campaign with Chandrababu Naidu in Krishna district. Deve Gowda began his speech by addressing Chandrababu as future Prime Minister of the country. Deve Gowda said that Chandrababu had worked hard to bring all regional parties on to one string to fight against the BJP.

Former Prime Minister asked the people of Andhra Pradesh to vote TDP for the development of the state. He said that YSRCP leader Jagan Mohan Reddy is busy doing rounds to the courts and Chandrababu is working hard to develop the state in various aspects. Welcoming the judgement of the Supreme
