Nandini Chakraborty is new principal secy of Bio tech dept

Nandini Chakraborty, an IAS of 1994 batch who was the commissioner of Presidency Division, has been made the new principal secretary of the Bio-technology department.
Chakraborty had taken up the charge as commissioner of the Presidency Division around 6 months ago and prior to that she was the secretary of the Sunderbans Affairs department.
With Monday's reshuffle, AR Bardhan, the secretary of the tourism department, has been given the additional charge of Presidency Division.
After the change of guard in the state she was made the managing director of the West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation.
