Naked body of man found with stone on top

Body of a man has been found lying near a park at JJ Colony in south east Delhi on Friday.
According to the police, the incident was reported by a passerby early on Friday morning. When a team of cops reached the crime scene, they found a body of a man, who was later identified as 35-year-old Ram Kishor, lying in a pit. A large stone was placed over the body. The locals helped the cops to identify the deceased.
The victim worked as a mechanic. He lived in a rented accommodation in the JJ Colony itself.
‘The body had no clothes on it,’ a police officer informed. The body was taken to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences for the post-mortem examination. The report is still awaited,’ the officer said.
The victim’s family has not named anyone as a suspect in the case.
