To give Delhites a flavour of pure music, India Habitat Centre, started the Morning Ragas series in 2014. Earlier maestros featured in Morning Ragas include names like Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Ustad Wassifuddin Dagar, Vidhushi Girija Devi, Subha Mudgal to name a few. These maestros have mesmerised their audiences with their music during the morning at the Amphitheatre attracting a crowd of over 300 keen music aficionados per show.

The son and disciple of Ustad Imrat Khan, Nishat Khan stands at the threshold of the future of sitar and Indian music with his uniquely invigorating, contemporary approach. Nishat recently composed for his first Bollywood film with the acclaimed director Sudhir Mishra Yeh Saali Zindagi.

Ram Kumar Mishra is the grandson of Pandit Anokhelal Mishra from Banaras gharana and son of Pandit  Chhannulal Mishra. He has received his tutelage under another renowned tabla player, Pandit ChhoteLal Mishra. He has performed with all the major artists like Shiv Kumar Sharma, Pandit Vishwamohan Bhatt, Pandit Ronu Mazumdar, Pandit Jasraj and is much acclaimed in India and abroad.
