Mumbai locals, autos to be part of Arvind Kejriwal’s Mumbai itinerary

The party has planned their campaign strategy to connect to all, from the common man to middle class to upper class.

As per the plan sent by his party to the media, Kejriwal will land at Mumbai airport on Wednesday morning and catch an auto to reach Andheri railway station.

‘He will travel in Mumbai local to reach South Mumbai for a fund raising programme,’said the press statement. Kejriwal is scheduled to interact with commuters in Mumbai local in his 40 minute journey from Andheri to Churchgate.

In the afternoon, he will lead road shows for AAP candidates Meer Sanyal in South Mumbai and Mumbai North East candidate Medha Patkar. Kejriwal will leave for a two-day tour to Nagpur on Wednesday evening to take part in the road shows for his party candidates in Vidharbha region.
Kejriwal’s first fund raising dinner in Nagpur on 13 March, has been planned at a luxury hotel in Sadar Nagpur which costs around Rs 10,000 per person.

The fund raising dinner organiser Girish Nandgaonkar claimed that they are getting very encouraging response on his initiative and around 150-200 people would attend the event. ‘The dinner is basically for our donors and we will put up all names on our AAP Nagpur website,’ said
Nandgaonkar.

The second fund raising dinner of Kejriwal is being hosted in Bangalore on Saturday. He will reach here on Friday night and take part in several road shows on Saturday in the favour of AAP Lok Sabha candidates.

Here the fund raising dinner is being co-hosted by former Infosys board members which costs around Rs 20,000 per person. In the last day of his tour, Kejriwal will lead day long road show starting from Bangalore to pass through Yelakanka, Gauribidanur and Dobbaballapur parliamentary constituencies and it will culminate with a public meeting at freedom park.
