MP govt to open IT park, EMC complexes at Bhopal

The Madhya Pradesh government will be setting up IT Park and Electronic Manufacturing Clusters (EMC) at Bhopal and Jabalpur in a move aimed at generating direct and indirect employment for almost 60,000 people. Union IT minister Ravi Shankar Prasad will lay the foundation stone for the project on October 6, an official release said on Saturday.

Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Science and Technology minister Bhupendra Singh will also attend the function. While the IT Park and EMC in Bhopal will come up at Badwai on 212 acres of land, the complex in Jabalpur district will be set up on 62 acres of land at Purva village, the release added.
