Police said that the victim, Mrityunjoy Chakraborty was riding a motorcycle with one Chinmay Dutta in the pillion. He was racing with another motorcyclist on the Ultadanga flyover when he lost control of his bike while taking a sharp bend on the flyover.
According to police, the two bikers were coming from the Lake Town side, situated on the EM Bypass. There were two young men riding on the other bike. The accident took place when Chakraborty was trying to overtake the other bike.
