Montek visits NTPC-Dadri

Planning Commission deputy chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia visited NTPC's Dadri plant on Wednesday. He was accompanied by plan panel Advisor (Energy) Iliyas Ali Khan, and his PS Arunish Chawla.
The visitors were received by NTPC chairman & managing director (CMD) Arup Roy Choudhury, Director (Operations) N N Misra, Director (Projects) B P Singh, RED (NC&CA) A N Dave and NTPC-Dadri General Manager (GM).
Ahluwalia visited the Stage-II coal-based power station, gas-based power station and ash mound and took keen interest in operational activities of the power stations.The Planning Commission deputy chairman also appreciated the environmental protection measures being adopted at NTPC Dadri.
Roy Choudhury briefed Ahluwalia about NTPC's role in power generation and the features and achievements of NTPC Dadri.
