Mohalla Assi release restrained

Delhi court restrains <g data-gr-id="19">release</g> of Hindi film Mohalla Assi starring Sunny Deol for allegedly hurting religious sentiments. The film’s trailer had leaked without being Censored and the amount of expletives used in the film has called for a huge controversy. Bajrang Dal <g data-gr-id="15">too</g> have protested against the film’s release and now we hear that the Delhi Court has put a stay on the release of the Sunny Deol <g data-gr-id="14">starrer</g>. 

A complaint had been filed against Director Chandra Prakash Dwivedi and actor Sunny Deol of the upcoming movie Mohalla Assi, with a local organisation claiming that “expletives” allegedly used in the film hurt the “religious sentiments” of some sections.
