Modi files nomination, delivers biggest road-show

Modi, 63, waved to supporters who rained flowers on his motorcade.  ‘I am humbled by the love showered by the people of this city on me. I wish to live up to the expectation of the people,’ Modi said and talked about his plans to improve the river front and look into the plight of weavers. ‘Mother Ganges has called me here. I feel the same affection that a son gets when he is in his mother’s lap,’ Modi said in his emotional address to the media. ‘I have plans for weavers too. We have to make their product market worthy,’ he said. BJP’s in-charge of Uttar Pradesh Amit Shah said that earlier it was a Modi wave but after Varanasi’s road show it has turned into a tsunami. The response from the people was enthusiastic.
