Modi accuses the PM of working for foreign benefit

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Friday teared into Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in connection with the coal blocks allocation and allowing Foreign Direct Investment(FDI) in multi brand retail.

'PM the country wants to know why you have become Singham only twice in eight years, once in 2008 when you signed the nuclear deal and now in 2012, both these times there were elections in the united states, so is there a connection between the two?' questioned Modi. He also asked that why does the PM becomes Singham only for foreign countries but not for his own.

Modi was critical towards Sonia Gandhi also and wondered if her visit to US recently had any thing to do with FDI being allowed in India.'FDI in the country was allowed, the very next day when Madam Sonia Gandhi came back from her visit to United states, did Soniaj Gandhi's trip to the US affect the decision on FDI?' asked Modi.
