Minor raped

A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in east Delhi on Friday. The accused has been arrested. ‘The incident took place late in the night, when the victim, a class VIII student, was sleeping at her residence in Khajoori Khas area of east Delhi. At that time, her mother was also present in the home but she was sleeping in another room. Father of the minor was out of town,’ a police official said.
The accused has been identified as Alim, 23. He entered the residence by jumping off from the boundary wall and raped the girl at knife-point. He then e threatened her of dire consequences.
