Minor rape: CID arrests two

The CID was assigned to carry out the investigation following the order of the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The girl was abducted from her house and was taken to a nearby jungle where the criminals had raped and later murdered the girl.

The investigating officers have found some important clues after interrogating the two persons who were already held by the police. They were also interrogating the some local people and the relatives of the victim.

Police said that the girl was kidnapped from her house at around 1 a.m. and the miscreants took her to a jungle near her residence. After committing the crime the miscreants dumped her body in the jungle. Tension broke out at the locality when the body was found on Friday morning.

According to the preliminary investigation police suspect that the accused had broke open the door silently and abducted the girl.
