Minor gang-raped by juveniles in South-east Delhi

A six-year-old girl was gang-raped by two juveniles in South-east Delhi’s Tuglakabad area on Thursday evening. The duo accused who are 11-year-old have been apprehended by the police.

According to police, the incident took place when the minor was playing outside her residence with the duo accused who lives in the neighborhood. 

The duo lured her and took her to one of their residence and raped her one by one. After the assault they threatened her of dire consequences if she complains about them.

The girl rushed to her house and narrated the incident to her mother who took her to the police station to file a complaint. 

After recording victim’s statement and getting her medical examination done, a case under the POCSO Act was registered and the juveniles were apprehended from their residences. The duo have been sent to the juvenile home.
