Minor fire in BSF air wing office in CGO complex

A minor fire on Tuesday broke out inside a building housing the air wing office of the BSF and other central police organisations in the CGO Complex here.

However, no human injuries have been reported, Fire Department officials said.

A call was received at 12.17 am following which a dozen fire tenders were rushed to Block no 4 <g data-gr-id="32">tower</g> inside the CGO Complex on Lodhi Road, they said.

“The fire emanated from the first floor of the building which houses a part of the air wing of the Border Security Force. No injuries were reported. However, some computers, documents and other peripherals were gutted in the flames that were brought under control in two hours time,” a senior official said.

While the BSF air wing is located in the force headquarters few blocks away, they said, building houses a part of that office. The building, adjacent to the headquarters of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force and the Central Reserve Police Force, also has offices of other Central police organisations like BPRD, ITBP and the forensic laboratory of CBI.
