Minor accident injures taxi driver after tractor hits his cab

A tractor accidentally collided with a taxi in the jurisdiction of Delhi Cantt police station on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday. According to the police, in the accident, the taxi driver sustained minor injuries.

Police said that the accident took place at around 1 am near the gate of the Rajputana Rifles where a tractor was heading towards Dhaula Kuan when the tractor hit the Ascent taxi. 

Due to the impact, the tractor overturned while the taxi got stuck in a pothole. However, the tractor driver managed to flee from the spot.

Sources said that a PCR van patrolling the area rushed to the spot and took the driver of the taxi to a nearby hospital. Police said that they have registered a case under relevant sections of the IPC against the tractor driver at the Delhi Cantt police station. Further investigation is underway.
