With Women Entrepreneur as its theme, the 34th India International Trade Fair 2014 (IITF) will be inaugurated by President Pranab Mukherjee in the Capital on 14 November. The India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) is all set to hold the B2B and B2C event from November 14 to 27.
With over 6000 exhibitors from India and abroad taking part in this event, all the Centre/States pavilions are being renovated and their facades are being given a new look.
Various agencies have geared up to facilitate the different activities related to convenience and security for the participants and visitors. South Africa has been accorded the Partner Country Status while Thailand is the Focus Country. Delhi will be the Focus State.
The fair has tremendous significance for the business community. The fair provides a great platform to all sorts of exporters, entrepreneurs and investors. Apart from showcasing a wide range of merchandise and services, the fair will be committed to the new mantra Make in India.
The fair also aims to focus on the cleanliness drive launched by the Prime Minister under Bharat Swachchta Mission.
The first five days of the fair from 14-18 November are earmarked for business visitors only.
