Mid-day mayhem: EDMC constitutes 5-member team

East Delhi Municipal Corporation has constituted a five-member committee to look into the incident in which five students reportedly fell sick after consuming mid-day meal in a school on Wednesday.
According to the education department, 237 students were served puri-chhole prepared by Dalit Manva Seva Sansthan, a non-governmental organisation, in a primary school located in Sabhapur village on Wednesday. ‘A committee will look into the matter and action would be taken,’ said Sanjay Surjan, chairman of standing committee in East DMC.
