Michael Fassbender to return for Prometheus 2

Filmmaker Ridley Scott has confirmed that Steve Jobs star Michael Fassbender will reprise his role in the untitled sequel of the 2012 science-fiction Prometheus.

The 38-year-old actor earlier collaborated with Scott for the 2013 crime thriller “The Counselor” and the directed said “Prometheus 2”, which is slated to begin production in February 2016, will be his next project, reported Aceshowbiz.

Fassbender will do this one with me, and it’s meant to start production in February. I’m in prep, now. I’ll either shoot in <g data-gr-id="13">Aussie,</g> or here,” Scott said. The Alien director said the next Prometheus movie would be closely connected to the first film.
