‘Me and Mithun da are like Tom and Jerry’ says Jay Bhanushali

TV host Jay Bhanushali says he and “Dance India Dance” grandmaster Mithun Chakraborty pull each other’s leg like classic animated characters Tom and Jerry.

The 30-year-old Ek Paheli Leela actor, who has been hosting Dance India Dance (DID) since its inception in 2009, said he enjoys his time on the sets with Mithun and credits him for his comfort and 

flawless hosting.

“I share a great relationship with Mithun da. He and <g data-gr-id="36">me</g> are like Tom and Jerry of DID. He is the reason behind my spontaneity on the show. He is cool with being a part of the joke and since season one has made me comfortable. I can say anything to him.

“But, we share a great camaraderie off screen as well. He considers my wife (Mahi) as his daughter and loves her a lot,”  Jay told media person. Jay, who is set to host the fifth season of DID, feels the show provides <g data-gr-id="35">platform</g> to aspiring dancers to make it big in the industry.“DID has changed so many lives.
