MCI scrutinises Malda Medical College

A three-member team of the Medical Council of India (MCI) had visited the Malda Medical College and Hospital for past two days to take a stock of the infrastructure of the hospital.

On the basis of their findings the MCI members will submit a report to Delhi. MCI officials make routine visits to various hospitals in the State from time to time to review the available infrastructure in the hospitals. It was learnt that the team members had expressed their dissatisfaction over certain issues. After visiting various departments of the Malda Medical College and Hospital the team found that there were some lapses in the infrastructure at some wards of the hospital.
