MCD worker’s murder solved

The murder of a 29 year-old, working in the malaria department of MCD was cracked by the police on Thursday with the arrest of two people.
Chetan Sharma (19) and Akash Mehrulia (21) have been arrested were held in connection with the murder. The weapons of offence, a blood stained wooden log and blood stained pieces of brick have also been recovered.
On 16 July, information was received regarding the recovery of a dead body near HDFC ATM, Jharoda Bus Stand. No eye witness was available.
Finally the identity of the victim was ascertained and established as Dheeraj Jain, a resident of Najafgarh.
