Mayawati asks MPs, MLAs to raise UP issue during Monsoon session

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Sunday directed the party MPs and legislators to raise the peoples’ issue in a big way during the coming Monsoon Session of both the Parliament and the Uttar Pradesh assembly.

‘It is a high time that the Centre should intervene on the misrule in Uttar Pradesh,’ she suggested while adding the problems of the people in UP has increased in the present regime even as she had repeatedly demanded imposition of President’s rule in the state.

Addressing the party leaders, including MPs, MLAs, coordinators and others here at the state party office during review of the party’s function in west UP, Mayawati said that jungle raj prevailed in the state and people are frustrated with the Samajwadi Party government.

She directed MPs and MLAs to raise the problems of the people in the Parliament and UP legislature while asked other leaders to take up the matter at appropriate platforms.

‘The criminals are having a field day in the present regime as mafias and goondas are running a parallel government ,’ she alleged.
