Marriage isn’t perfect: Angelina
They are known to be one of the most compatible real-life <g data-gr-id="28">couples</g> but actress Angelina Jolie says she and husband Brad Pitt “have (<g data-gr-id="29">their</g>) issues.”
Jolie, however, added they are nothing like the unhappy couple they play in their upcoming film “By the Sea”, reported Female First.
The 40-year-old actor has six children, Maddox, 14, Pax, 11, Zahara, 10, Shiloh, nine, and seven-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, with Pitt, 51.
“Brad and I have our issues, but if the characters were even remotely close to our problems, we couldn’t have made the film.
“This is the only film I’ve done that is completely based on my own crazy mind. As <g data-gr-id="31">artists</g> we wanted something that took us out of our comfort zones. Just being raw actors. It’s not the safest idea. But life is short.” The 40-year-old actor-director, who has six kids with Pitt, feels one can love the person they want to kill, reported Us magazine.
“Everybody knows that there is never just the tragedy of life or the humour of life or <g data-gr-id="27">pure</g> joy of life. Relationships have those extremes. You can absolutely madly love the same person you want to kill,” Jolie said.
“It’s the puzzle of figuring out those things that get in the way of really loving someone. A lot of it’s the past, a lot of it’s insecurities, a lot of it’s wanting something so much that you focus too much on losing it,” Pitt, 51 added. Written and directed by Jolie, By the Sea is a romantic drama about a couple in the 1970s who are struggling to save their marriage.
