Man’s charred body found in Mohan Garden

The charred body of an unidentified man was found in West Delhi’s Mohan Garden area on Sunday morning. 

The police received a PCR call about the incident around 9 am. The body was found lying near a blanket on a vacant plot in the area.

According to the police, the man was in his mid twenties. The police have sent his body to the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital for a post-morten examination and are taking all steps to establish his identity.

Meanwhile, a case of murder against unknown person(s) has been registered at the Uttam Nagar police station under relevant sections of the IPC.

The investigating officer said once the victim’s identity is established, it will help the police nab the culprit.

Computer operator found dead in Narela

In another incident, a 24-year-old computer operator was found dead inside a car in Outer Delhi’s Narela area on Sunday morning, the police said. His throat was allegedly slit and gunshot injuries were also found on the body.

The police said the victim was identified as Mohit, who worked as a computer operator at a power company in Narela. They added that Mohit used to live with his family in Narela. 

The police said on Saturday, Mohit had left his home in his car but did not return. On Sunday morning, they received a call that a body was lying in a car parked on a roadside.

A case of murder against some unknown persons has been registered at the Narela police station under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. The police are also scanning Mohit’s phone call details. They have sent his body for post-mortem examination.
