Man moves high court as school denies admission

A father of three minor girls has approached the Delhi High Court against a Delhi government-run school, which allegedly did not grant admission to his wards despite several visits.
The petitioner has alleged that since he was not able to afford the high fees of private schools, he approached Rajkiya Sarvodya Kanya Vidyayalaya because it falls in his neighbourhood. The petitioner said he was seeking admission for his daughters in Class II, IV and VI, respectively.

The girls were earlier studying in a Green Valley Primary School, Bahadurgarh in Haryana and have valid transfer certificates.
The plea submitted at the HC stated: ‘Despite repeated requests, the respondent school has not given admission to these girls and they are sitting idle though the schools have reopened.’
