Man kills wife over tiff, then turns revolver on self

The Police have registered a case and sent the body for <g data-gr-id="25">post-mortem</g> with its reports awaited. According to the police, the incident took place around <g data-gr-id="24">4am</g> in the Rajputana Mohalla of Robupura when Ravinder, a cosmetic shop owner, and his wife Manju (40) scuffled over some petty issues. 

The police said that within a few minutes the fight took an ugly turn and the husband open fired on the wife. 

Manju was shot in her abdomen and neck with three bullets, finally succumbing to her injuries. Minutes after her death, Ravinder also shot himself.The neighbours, who heard the gunfire, made a PCR(Put/Call ratio) call. Shailender, <g data-gr-id="27">brother</g> of Ravinder, lodged a formal complaint at Robupura police station following which a case was registered. The complainant said that the couple has had some issues with each other for the past few months.

The police are looking into the investigation from other angles as well. 

“We have registered a case and are investigating it and have been questioning the family members of both sides,” said an official.
