Man found dead in Ranhola, reason unknown

A 43-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances with wound injuries near his eyes at an isolated spot in West Delhi’s Ranhola area on Thursday morning. Hours after police found the man’s body, the identity of the man was ascertained through local intelligence. He has been identified as Arun Kumar Sharma. Police said that they have registered a case under relevant sections of the IPC and are investigating if the man died due to an accident or was allegedly murdered.

According to the police, the incident came to light at around 10.30 am on Thursday morning when a passer-by spotted the dead body of a man at the Nala road near Kheri Baba Pulia at Ranhola. He immediately informed the police after which a team of police rushed to the spot and found that a body of a man aged around 45 years was lying near Nala Road. Police said that they are waiting for the post-mortem reports to ascertain how Arun died.
