Man arrested for killing wife

A 40-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly murdering his wife in South Delhi's Sanjay Colony area.

Billu Ram bludgeoned his wife, <g data-gr-id="11">Chando</g> (35), to death with a heavy object on August 13 and then fled to 

Hajipur in Bihar, police said on Tuesday.

He was tracked down by a police team formed to investigate the case, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (South), Prem Nath. Police said the body was first spotted by her mother.

She reported the matter to police and also complained about Billu Ram being cruel to her daughter, the DCP said.
