Mamata’s Twitter fans cross 7k in two days

On Friday, Banerjee also announced the setting up of the Jai Hind Bahini in every block of West Bengal to support people in their social needs on Twitter.
“Twitter is a great medium to communicate and Mamata Banerjee is a great communicator….She has taken to Twitter like duck to water”, party spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP Derek O’ Brien told Millennium Post.
On the AITC handle, Banerjee announced the inauguration of the Jatra Utsav at Barasat on Friday. “A databank of jatra artists is also on cards”, she announced. Along with this, medical insurance and a hike of pension is going to be available for these artistes. “Jatra is ma important part of our culture”, she tweeted.
Following O’ Brien and MP Abhishek Banerjee on twitter, Banerjee tweeted on Jan 1, “We are committed to work for the development of the people. We look forward to your help and cooperation. Happy New Year to you all”.
