The reason being Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is going to inaugurate and lay foundation stones of many projects from Narayangarh which will benefit a large section of people along with the residents of Narayangarh.

Narayangarh, that had been under the control of CPI(M) for the past 38 years, has witnessed the victory of Trinamool Congress candidate Prodyut Kumar Ghosh by a margin of 19,589 votes defeating Mishra.

During a press conference at Nabanna on the day of swearing in for the second term, Banerjee had said that she would let everyone know the date of her visit to Narayangarh as soon as it gets fixed. She said this to a reply to a question that whether she would start her district tour from the place as per her commitment ahead of the election to the people of the area. She had also said that “She know to keep her words”.

Continuing with the same pace from the very beginning of the second term of her government just like the previous five years, Banerjee will be laying foundation stone for a 20-bedded new Ashram Hostel for Scheduled Tribes in Nekurseni Primary School in Narayangarh Block. Other projects for Narayangarh includes construction of storerooms for preservation of paddy at Narayangarh and other places like Jhargram, Pingla, Sankrail and Binpur-I block.
