Malhotra terms Dikshit statement as misleading

Leader of the Opposition in Delhi assembly Vijay Kumar Malhotra on Tuesday termed as absolutely wrong and misleading the statement given by the chief minister Sheila Dikshit on getting the accounts of the power supply companies audited by Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG).
Malhotra said, ‘Today the chief minister of Delhi is saying that two years ago, the private power firms were asked to get the accounts audited by CAG but it is a matter of great astonishment that for the last several years the BJP has been demanding and even the court
had directed the government to do so but the chief minister adamantly denied
the same.’
‘If the chief minister had got the accounts of these private companies audited by the CAG two years ago, then the audit report should be made public,’ Malhotra demanded.
