Major bureaucratic re-shuffle undertaken by Delhi govt

Ashwani Kumar, a 1992-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the new Secretary of the Environment department of the Delhi government. In a major re-shuffle of senior officers, the government on Tuesday transferred 18 more senior IAS officers.

K R Meena, a 1993-batch IAS officer, who was put in waiting, has been posted as the Secretary-cum-Commissioner of the Labour department while Ashish Chandra Verma has been posted as the Divisional Commissioner with the additional charge of Managing Director of Delhi Khadi and Village Industries Board. Dilraj Kaur, Additional Commissioner with the North MCD has been posted as the Member of Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board and Nikhil Kumar has been transferred from the post of the Secretary, New Delhi Municipal Council, to Special Secretary Health in Delhi government. Chanchal Yadav will be the new Secretary, NDMC. 

A Anbarasu is the new Divisional Commissioner with an additional charge as the Development Commissioner. K K Jindal has been transferred from the post of the Commissioner, Food Safety to the post of Secretary, Delhi Minority Commission and Mrinalini Darswal has been assigned the additional charge of Commissioner Food Safety.

The department of Value Added Tax has got two new officers — Abhishek Dev and Shiv Kumar as the Additional Commissioners. Amit Satija, Director, Finance in Delhi Jal Board has been transferred to the post of the Deputy Commissioner West in South MCD and will be replaced by Nidhi Srivastava at his place. 

Sandeep Mishra has been posted as the Additional Secretary, Urban Development while B S <g data-gr-id="24">Jaglan</g> has been transferred from the post of the Deputy Commissioner West to the post of Deputy Commissioner South-east. MRM Rao has been transferred from the post of the Special Secretary (UD) to DC in North MCD.
