Mahindra launches e20Plus for Kolkata

Mahindra Electric announced the launch of its new Electric City Smart Car, the ‘e2oPlus’, in Kolkata on Friday.

e20Plus, a ‘no emission’ car, is aimed at bringing a new concept in urban mobility. The P4 variant will be launched at an attractive price of Rs 6.96 lakh in Kolkata (ex-showroom, post FAME initiative). When fully charged, the Mahindra e2oPlus can travel upto 140 km and can achieve a top speed of 85 kmph.

Mahindra Electric has used its latest electric drive train technology, courtesy of which the e2oPlus can effortlessly cruise through city traffic. The tall-boy design and spacious interiors make for a compact city car that can comfortably seat four adults.

The car has a host of innovative features, including remote diagnostics through telematics, connectivity through smartphone app, new and advanced infotainment system, regenerative braking and hill-hold control for easy driving in hilly terrain. Charging the e2oPlus is as simple as charging a mobile phone, the company claims. The car is available in four trim levels (P2, P4, P6, P8) and four colours, namely Coral Blue, Sparkling Wine, Arctic Silver, Solid White.
