Madan Mitra’s health worsens

Trinamool Congress’ Madan Mitra had complained of chest pain and vomiting from Sunday night. On April 26 Mitra was shifted to the cardiology department of the SSKM Hospital as he was suffering from the breathlessness and chest pain. He has been undergoing treatment at the SSKM Hospital since then.

According to the hospital source Mitra had been vomiting from Sunday night as a result of which he has become week. He was supposed to under Colonoscopy on Monday morning but the doctors could not perform the test as he was vomiting continuously. He has been kept under close monitoring of the doctors.

If his condition improves the doctors will perform Colonoscopy on Mitra on Tuesday. The doctors said that his condition is improving gradually. Mitra had earlier been admitted at the SSKM hospital after he was arrested for his alleged involvement in the Saradha scam.
