Love-birds detained, later released

Some youth and girls from a destitute home were detained by local residents after they were found in compromising position inside a park at BH block in Salt Lake on Monday evening. 

The local residents locked the couples at a nearby office and informed the local police station. Later police reached the spot and requested the local residents to release the couples. However, the local residents released the couples after few hours and warned them that they would be handed over to the police if they were found there next time.      

The local residents have also urged the park authorities not allow couples to stay inside the park late in the evening hours as local miscreants often take shelter at parks in the evening.
