Link-up rumours not a big deal: Arjun Kapoor

Arjun Kapoor has constantly been linked-up to his <g data-gr-id="34">co-stars</g> but the actor says speculation regarding his personal life never bothered him.

Arjun, 30, was linked to Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha and most recently Jacqueline Fernandez.

“Link ups don’t bother me. It’s a part and parcel as long as you and the other person knows the truth. I think this industry is built on speculation whether it comes to your professional or personal life or the films you are doing. It’s not as big a deal as people might think. We don’t really think that much on them (rumours),” he told a <g data-gr-id="40">media</g> person.

“As long as speculation are written respectfully and not below the belt I am absolutely fine. As I have grown up in this profession as a kid, I have always been aware of it. As an actor I have to deal with it,” he said.

The 2 States star has finally signed on his next project Ki and Ka, a contemporary love story that stars Kareena Kapoor Khan besides him. Arjun is currently shooting the R Balki-directed film in the capital.

Arjun said Delhi is special for him as his last four films were based in the city. Talking about a different side of the national capital the actor <g data-gr-id="37">said</g> “Delhi gets a little still, a little dreamy and a little melancholy during <g data-gr-id="36">night</g>.”

The actor shared his experience of witnessing the serene side of the city on Twitter. 

“Night shoot and you get to see a different side of Delhi...a little still, a little dreamy, a little melancholy...and lots of TRUCKS passing by,” Arjun tweeted. 

Come morning, and the Gunday actor came up with a way to ditch the morning blues as he shared a selfie with India Gate in the background. 

“Forget the morning blues... I got the morning PURPLE #Indiagate #sundayselfie #selfietohbantahai #KiandKa,” he shared. 

R. Balki’s Ki and Ka is a romantic film about two people with contrasting ideologies. 

While Arjun essays a progressive house husband, who lovingly supports his wife’s ambitions, 

Kareena Kapoor portrays a super ambitious career-oriented woman in the movie.

The film is slated to hit the theatres next year.
