LG office says jain not pressurised

Countering the allegations of ‘pressure’ levelled by Delhi Home minister Satyendra Jain, the LG Secretariat on Friday alleged that the minister was acting in an unconstitutional manner and had tried to bypass rules to get signature of LG on a file related to withdrawal of cases against senior Aam Aadmi Party leaders including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his deputy Manish Sisodia. “Jain brought a file by hand containing the details of criminal cases pending against  Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, his deputy Manish Sisodia and other senior leaders of AAP. He asked for clearing the file immediately so that he could take it back on the same day which LG refused as file was not routed properly,” said Ajay Chaudhry, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the LG.
