LG, Delhi Assembly Speaker address citizens on I-Day

In his greetings on the eve of the 69th Independence Day, Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung exhorted the people to live up to the ideals of our supreme document, the Constitution of India. He added, “Independence Day must mark an occasion for us to renew our pledge to serve our nation with greater sincerity, commitment and truth, in all walks of life.” He exhorted the people to set an example of good citizenship and emphasised the need to treat everyone with respect and dignity, irrespective of caste, class, gender, religion or region. Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram <g data-gr-id="8">Niwal</g> Goel in the greetings expressed hope that every citizen would continue to work sincerely to make Delhi and India prosperous and strong.
