Lalit Modi tweets against Rajiv Shukla, Congress

A day after launching a frontal attack on Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi, on Monday, targeted former Union Minister Rajiv Shukla, who was the IPL Chairman during Modi's time.

In a series of tweets, Modi said: “Will all congress party members specifically @ShuklaRajiv a #minister in #congress advise who #paid for all his #private jet trips – or was Ashok Chaturvedi just did it as a favor to you. Amongst many other <g data-gr-id="27">planes</g> you took. What favor did you provide <g data-gr-id="32">them.</g> Let all congress ministers provide such data. Let DGCA make public the Passenger manifest in last 10 years as a start.”

Ashok Chaturvedi is the founder of Uflex Limited, who was sentenced to four-year imprisonment in a Noida land scam case. He is currently out on bail and has appealed against the verdict.

The former tainted IPL commissioner tweeted more: “My specific Query to Congress Party – specifically – has the Modi Group or as a matter of fact any group ever provided you any of your MP's any hospitality, favors, election funding, rides on planes, hotel, cars, dinners, plants in your constituency etc. ”

He even charged that some Congress MPs asked him and the BCCI for favours “to include their sons in Indian Premier League (IPL) teams.”

Modi also uploaded details of his cases and notices from all departments along with his answers and rebuttals.
