Lahiri shifts focus from US to Europe for BMW PGA

Anirban Lahiri will shift his focus to Europe from PLAYERS championship in the United States, when he makes his first appearance at the European Tour’s main event, the BMW PGA Championships this week.

The 27-year-old Lahiri, who has been playing one big event after another after breaking into the elite zone of the game, will figure at the BMW PGA Championships and Irish Open, before going back to US for another WGC at Akron, Ohio and the US Open.

Through the year Lahiri, who has maintained his position among top-50 in the world, will keep shuttling between Europe and US.

“I am looking forward to playing at BMW PGA at Wentworth. It is a superb golf course and quite easily the biggest event on the European Tour and one of the great event in world golf.
