“...And yes I finally got my license after years of driving with an adult present and a learners permit,” Gaga wrote on the photo-sharing website. “I am free. Rollin(g) with the homies,” she added.
Gaga has actually been learning to drive for the past few years and she has been quite vocal about it on her social media channels.
Back in 2012, she tweeted: “Maybe while I’m learning to drive you don’t need to sneak up on me and stick your giant camera in a moving vehicle.”
Lately, the singer was in news as she was among the 49 celebrities who participated in a tribute video dedicated to the Orlando massacre victims.
The 18-minute video produced by Ryan Murphy shows photographs of the 49 victims who were gunned down less than three weeks ago at the Orlando nightclub, Pulse, reports variety.com.
Lady Gaga also hit headlines when she was reportedly banned by China’s Communist party after she met with Dalai Lama to discuss yoga.
The popular singer met the exiled Tibetan spiritual leader on June 26 before a conference in Indianapolis.
A video of the 19-minute meeting -in which the pair pondered issues such as meditation, mental health and how to detoxify humanity- was posted on the singer’s Facebook account.
The meeting sparked an angry reaction from Beijing, which has attacked the spiritual leader, Dalai Lama as a “wolf in monk’s robes”, The Guardian reported.
